Kioa is an island of Fiji that the Vaitupu community of Tuvalu call home. It is hailed as the first successful planned relocation of communities affected by climate change.
Kioa is also the birthplace of the groundbreaking Kioa Climate Emergency Declaration which states key climate action demands from the Pacific to the world 🌎
We’re pleased to be part of the meetings here this year to shape the Declaration ahead of COP 28 ✊
