Earlier this year, Vanuatu was hit by TWO cyclones in just TWO days. Listen to Flora, the country manager for ActionAid Vanuatu, talk about how the women of Erromango, one of Vanuatu’s 83 islands, played a key role in keeping their communities safe.
Current levels of global warming are not safe, and climate impacts are falling disproportionately on Island Nations and other groups in vulnerable situations. Indigenous women are leading the way to make their communities more resilient to climate impacts because governments and global leaders aren’t doing enough to tackle climate change.
