Today, people across the world are taking enormous risks for our rights. But they’re being tortured, jailed and even killed – just for daring to stand up for others.
Stand with Brave activists, like Mahadine, a father of seven facing a life sentence for a Facebook post.
In September 2016, the online activist Tadjadine Mahamat Babouri, commonly known as Mahadine, posted videos on Facebook criticizing the Chadian government.
Within days, he was snatched off the streets, beaten and chained up for several weeks. Facing a life sentence, he is gravely ill having caught tuberculosis in prison. He needs urgent medical care. He should not lose his freedom for courageously expressing his opinion.
Stand up for those like Mahadine, brave enough to stand up for what’s right.

Help protect people who take a risk for all of us.
Your donation will help us send research teams to investigate human rights abuses, broadcast our findings to the world and pressure Governments to make positive change.
